RN Night Shift *With Hiring Incentives/Shift Differential*

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Jackson has immediate openings for Full-Time Registered Nurses for Nights! We provide trauma informed care to adolescents. We are offering a $10,000 Retention Bonus for full-time new hire RNs and a shift differential!

Job duties of a Registered Nurse includes the following:

*Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
*Regularly assess, plan, implement and evaluate each child's care and produce a comprehensive nursing assessment care plan.
*Assist in developing measurable goals on the multi-disciplinary treatment plan that is completed with the patient and the treatment team.
*Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
*Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
*Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
*Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
*Provide instant medical care in emergencies
*Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
*Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.
*Provide a safe, therapeutic environment that protects child's rights
*Maintains professional relationship with patients, family members and fellow staff members.

Schedule: Nights 7p - 7a. Full-time schedule is rotating nights with every other weekend.
