Job Summary:
The Med-Surg RN provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care needs, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.
Salary Range:
- $27 per hour (up to 2 years of experience)
- $31 per hour (up to 5 years of experience)
- $34 per hour (up to 10 years of experience)
- $39 per hour (15+ years of experience)
Shift Differentials:
- $4.00 for nights
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

Responsibilities:
- Assess patient condition and plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Monitor patient progress and report changes in patient condition
- Provide education and support to patients and their families

- Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire if holding a compact license)
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Acute care RN experience within the last 3 years (experience does not need to be in Med-Surg; for candidates with several years of RN experience, acute care experience within the last 5 years will be considered)
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Strong customer service abilities, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to perform frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
